Starting from Jiefangbei CBD, passing Chaotianmen Wharf, Nanbin Road riverside promenade, and the confluence viewpoint of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, finishing at Chongqing Olympic Sports Center

Tips

  • Significant elevation changes — train specifically for hills and climbs
  • March temps 12-18°C, often overcast with high humidity; bring wind/rain protection
  • Visit Hongya Cave, Ciqikou Ancient Town, and Wulong Karst after the race
  • Chongqing hotpot and xiaomian noodles are perfect post-race recovery fuel
